WHAT I’M WEARING //
I’m throwing it back to a few favorite classic looks I shared last year, because vegan leather is one of the top trending looks this Autumn/Winter. I say “trend” loosely cause this is one of those styles that isn’t too out there and wont ever go completely out. Similar to florals in spring or wool coats in winter, some form of leather will always be relevant for fall—- this year in particular, “Vegan” leather is the must-have….
VEGAN LEATHER SKIRTS + STYLING
I bought this leather midi skirt last year from Sezane (the cutest French brand who only does seasonal capsule collections) so unfortunately this exact skirt isn’t available. But I did lots of searching and found several really similar skirts including this one from Mango available in an almost identical tone and black, under $40 — linked below!
Styling wise, I’m always a fan of the Steve jobs turtleneck look — A classic turtleneck can never do you wrong. SO many Parisians were wearing them during Paris fashion week, myself included to the Akris runway show. They’re the classic “white tee” of Fall/Winter and in my opinion worth investing in. I’ll buy one nice one once a year and wear it so much, that for me, it’s worth spending a bit more to ensure the quality lasts. This Alice and Olivia mock neck has been my go to for the past two years and I just invested in a really good bodysuit style to wear with skirts/jeans this year. More linked below…
VEGAN LEATHER MINI SKIRTS/ DRESSES/SHORTS
Beyond midi skirts, I’m also a fan of vegan leather dresses, mini skirts, and shorts this year. I just bought these leather shorts from Sezane and this wrap dress from Mango for a themed Berlin Royal Cavalry party, but will definitely re-style and wear again with turtleneck, boots, booties etc. Lalo Digital work has been amazing/busy so I haven’t had time to shoot these two vegan leather looks just yet, but if you’re on the hunt for good fall shopping recs, keep Vegan leather on your radar. Personally the head to toes jumpsuits and vegan leather tops are a bit much for me, but I love these other styles (linked below)
Hope you’re enjoying Autumn! It’s finally feeling like actual fall here and I’m loving it. Fashion week in Paris was amazing, I’ll be back in Paris again for fun this coming weekend and back on the blog this week with more Fall/Winter Style Edits.
