Mini Update, Kooples Top (40% off), Summer Jeans, and Everyday Jewelry

BLOUSE: The Kooples (40% off) also in Teal | JEANS: ZARA | SLIDES: Loeffler Randall | RING: Sezane

So sorry I’ve been MIA on the blog lately! It’s been a bit of a juggling act balancing everything going on with work/being away and my own projects have taken a back seat lately. It’s a rare topic on here, but since starting my digital company, I’ve been super busy working with each of my clients — lots of photography, pop up shops, web development, social media projects in the works! Website coming soon… finally! Very very grateful for how everything is growing!

Personal life, I just got back from vacation with my family. We take a trip every year and I was in absolute heaven at the Ranch at Rock Creek in Montana. My mom has been going for years and I can’t believe I had never been. It basically felt like grown up summer camp and was so nice to spend time with the fam and Nahla since I live so far — more on all of that in a full post coming soon!

Now that I’m back in London I’m diving right back into everything! This post is longggg overdue but wanted to share one of the tops I’ve been wearing over and over from Kooples, my go-to summer jeans, and some recs on summer shoes/ really great everyday jewelry.

Lord knows I live in my black turtleneck allll fall/winter and this silk blouse has been my summer replacement. The body is super fitted which feels really flattering and the top is loose enough to look really romantic/summery with layered gold jewelry. It’s currently on sale 40% off and still in most sizes, which is rare for Kooples so if you need a summery top to wear with everything —- jeans, skirts, shorts… I highly recommend it! I personally prefer the classic pearly white hue, but it also comes in a pretty green if you want a little pop of color.

I’m the type of person that will really invest in denim, but in all the hundreds of dollars I’ve spent on jeans, this pair from ZARA is my current favorite. Unfortunately they aren’t part of rewardStyle so I can’t link them in the photos, but they’re high-rise light wash relaxed fit if you ask a sales associate in store or online. They are super flattering on, really comfortable, fit true to normal size, the perfect wash for summer, and under $30. 10/10 recommend, otherwise I really love the fit and look of Levi’s Wedgie jeans —I just got a new pair for Montana that I wore the entire week and loved… or my other denim go tos are Re/Done, Mother, and Reformation.

Shoes/ Accessories — I really love my Loeffler Randalls. I’ve had this pair for 2 years now and always end up wearing them spring through fall, they’re that versatile. I wish I could wear heels more in London, but I walk just about everywhere in the summertime so block heels are realistically as high as I can do…. Jewelry wise, I’m such a creature of habit, I wear the same gold jewelry every single day — Sezane Gold Ring, dainty gold band from Greece (lookalikes), skinny crystal circle ring from a shop here in London, a diamond band from Alchemy Works on my pinky (similar), my watch, two ball bracelets, a special gold bracelet from Amsterdam, and either my diamond earrings, Zara pearl hoops, or Emerald/gold mini hoops.

If you’re building up your ring stack or looking for some really amazing every day jewelry pieces, Octavia Elizabeth is the ultimate. I went to college with Octavia and she is absolutely killing it. Everything she makes is beyond stunning. It’s definitely an investment but there’s a reason every A-list celebrity wears her pieces — they’re truly beautiful and pieces you’ll really appreciate. Taking it down a price notch, Missoma also has beautiful everyday wearable jewelry — I love their coin necklaces, rings, bracelets..and have a few of their dainty necklaces that I’ll layer on everyday.

As always I’ve linked everything below + some similars if you’re in the market. I’m back in London just in time for British Summertime (London locals or visitors See all of my summer recs HERE!) & will be back on the blog regularly with lots of summer & travel edits!
