Not sure what the weather is up to today! We had the most beautiful, cloudless sunny skies last week and are now back to wet, grey, stay-inside weather — but the second spring actually arrives, I’ve got you covered with a roundup of spring-ready tops!
Spring is probably my all-time favorite season to dress for — I love the colors, the florals, the lighter fabrics, and romantic feminine feel. To me winter can feel a bit dark and heavy and I crave the lightness that comes with Spring/Summer. To this date, LoveShackFancy, Zimmerman, Rebecca Taylor, and Sezane are some of my favorite contemporary brands. As much as I love throwing in a new trend and trying things that create more of a “look”, I feel most Me when I wear outfits that are soft, feminine, delicate, and often floral.
In these pre-spring days leading up to warm weather, a nice pastel color scheme is all I need to get me through. No surprise I stopped back into Sezane (kind of dangerous how close I am to their Noting Hill Shop) but nonetheless, am such a sucker for the ruffled detail, classic neckline, and a soft floral fabric of this blouse with pair with jeans, a winter white coat, and loafer as an easy go to outfit from Spring/Summer.
Gucci still wins in my book for these pastel pink loafers. During the winter, my signature staple was a black turtleneck — come spring it’s still undoubtably these shoes. The heel is the perfect height for both work and weekends and if you’re not a fan of the pink, they come in multiple prints, patterns, and colors. Circle bags are still making statement (I’ve linked lots below at all price points) and if you want to get ahead of the trend curve, keep an eye out for “taco bags” aka circle bags cut in half. If you’re on the hunt for good investment bags, I recommend Clare V, Mansur Gavriel, and Sezane. For high street prices, Zara is always my first go-to, then I’ll stop in Mango. Typically they have pretty good handbags, accessories, and shoes and the quality is quite good for the price point.
