Winter Essentials: The Teddy Coat

COAT: Topshop SOLDOUT | SWEATER: Joie | JEANS: Rag & Bone | BOOTS: Stuart Weitzman

There are some cities you can get by all year round with a light cardigan and a cosy sweater — London is not one of them! Yes, it’s cold. Yes, people think I’m crazy for moving here from LA, but as annoying as the fickle weather can be at times, I do love bundling up with the changing of the seasons! As soon as I got back to London, I kicked off the holidays on Sloane Street. They had the cutest Christmas actives — wreath making, carolers singing, promos throughout the shops, and my favorite,  Horse-carriage rides. Still a bit jet-lagged, I bundled up in my coziest coat and b-lined straight to the horses. Last year I pretty much wore my Camel Coat 24/7 — It’s still a classic, and I’m sure will be coming right back out (very soon) this year, but the #1 coat to have on hand this winter is without a doubt… The Teddy Coat.

It’s a little more casual than your classic camel option, but even more comfortable. For analogies sake, it’s basically the equivalent of leaving the house in your favorite sweatshirt, just warmer, and more polished, of course. My exact coat is from TOPSHOP (Unfortunately Sold Out) but I’ve searched high and low, pulling some of the best of the best Teddy Coats for winter. Happy Bundling!
