There’s so much to love about Mykonos, but one of my all-time favorite parts is the town. It’s everything you picture when you think of Greece— stark white stone buildings, bright blue shutters and doors, winding stone roads, and a handful of family run shops. While we decided to stay at San Giorgio to enjoy an escape a bit out of town, we still set aside time in our five day trip to visit the old town of Mykonos multiple times! It’s an absolute must for any trip to Mykonos — great to grab lunch, do a bit of shopping, even just roam around without an agenda taking in the scenery and boutique shops. There are three main roads lined with an abundance of stores — some specialty, some designer, lots of jewelry, and tons of food! One in particular — Gioras Wood Bakery (pictured on my IG archived story) which sells the best homemade Baklava!

When in Mykonos it’s essential to add  “Little Venice”, the area by the water, along with the shopping streets, and Mykonos’ famous windmills to your “must-see” travel list. Despite me and my girlfriends reuniting for our trip after all living in different cities around the world, surprisingly, we all kind of coincidentally coordinated! I’ve been on a summer co-ord set kick if you’ve seen THIS POST and THIS POST — and had to get this top and shorts co-ord combo specifically for our day in town. I’ve always loves sets because they’re super comfy and easy to throw on for an eventful day— paired with strappy, natural sandals, a hat, tote bag, and jewelry, it’s easy, effortless and you’re good to go!

I could not get enough of Morgan’s dress!(Second from the right) It actually looks like a two-piece as well, but easily enough it’s just a one and done outfit that was PERFECT for Greece. Madison (far right), had the BEST white dress! It was only $60 but looks just like the super expensive style from Isabel Marant, also comes in mustard and rust. And Maddy (far left)  tied everything together with a Cult Gaia look-alike bag, another great piece that you’ll be able to find at Mykonos boutiques everywhere!
