Everyone keeps asking me, “What was your favorite part of Greece?” And while I LOVED the town of Mykonos, and couldn’t get over the views and buildings of Oía in Santorini, one of my all time favorite days and most memorable experiences was the catamaran tour that we took with Caldera Yachting in Santorini. For starters I absolutely love being out on the water! Most of my happiest memories include being out on a boat — from Ibiza to Charleston, to the lake growing up and now Santorini. It’s a completely new way of seeing the island and Caldera Yachting went above and beyond to make the entire experience exceptional.

When my girlfriends and I first started looking into logistics for our Greece trip we knew we wanted to take a catamaran tour. We had looked into budget-friendly options via trip advisor and Viator, but after coming across Caldera and hearing incredible things we decided to go for it and were SO happy we did. The company hooked us up with an incredible deal — there were 7 of us total, so the semi-private tour was ideal for our group, but if you want something more exclusive or have a larger party, they also offer private charters as well.

We originally signed up for the Caldera Classic Day Cruise (Normally offered at 140 euro per person) and were so excited to be upgraded to the Pearl Superior Cruise. I knew we’d be on a beautiful catamaran, but when the boat first arrived it was HHUUUUGGEEE! Above and beyond anything we could have expected with two hammock areas, plenty of sitting space, indoor and outdoor dining tables — ample room for a shared group. Now that we were able to experience the Pearl I’d say it’s worth an extra 15 euros to upgrade from the classic, but if you’re on a budget or traveling with a smaller group, I’m sure the classic cruise is incredible too.

Wine, beer, and refreshments are all included along with the most delicious authentic Greek lunch! When everyone went around listing their favorite meal at the end of our trip, this one was mentioned multiple times! The trip itself lasts around 5 hours, shuttle service to and from your hotel/accommodation included. We chose a day cruise to take advantage of the sun and snorkeling, but they also offer evening excursions if you’re looking for something more romantic or to soak in Santorini’s sunset views!

Anyone looking for Santorini recs, I would 1000% suggest adding this to your list! We had such an incredible time in Greece — major thanks to Caldera Yachting for the dream experience!
