Sundresses for Spring & Summer in the Cotswolds

I live for sundress season! If the weather was always as nice as its been lately, I probably wouldn’t ever wear anything else. I love a good trend and throwing a fun ensemble in the mix, but in my opinion a feminine, comfortable sundress is one of the best pieces you can own. As much as I’d like to come up with these incredible reasons to invest in sundresses, when it comes down to it they’re just easy. All you really need is a cute bag, comfortable sandals or slides, your favorite jewelry and you’re good to go. Plus if you invest in a few quality styles, they’ll last you for multiple seasons.

I found this particular sundress at the start of spring right before my first trip to Bordeaux. I wish you could feel how comfortable it is. It’s like slipping into a night robe, plus the wrap silhouette is so flattering. Because of the delicate floral detailing and midi hem length, this one can be both casual or dressy. I wore it for wine tasting in France and to dinner in the Cotswolds, but you can easily dress it up with a pair of nude heels like these Chloe’s that I have, for a spring wedding or rehearsal dinner… even coming up for brunch on Mother’s Day. Alternatively you can style it down and wear it with slides for a casual spring day like I wore in Bordeaux above or out and about running errands. It’s a piece I LOVE so I’m sure you’ll be spotting lots of it along with a couple of these other summer sundresses that I’ve linked below!
