If you haven’t read trend reports as of late, red is still having a major moment! Fashion week was full of head to toe red outfits, and while the HTT look is personally a bit much for me, I am a major fan of little red pants. Besides the obvious reasons of sunshine and vitamin D, I’ve been so ready for spring for a change in fashion.
I love a laid back pair of jeans just as much as the next girl, but after bundling up in denim for months on end, I’ve been craving a little color to change things up! For these transitional weeks leading up to and into spring, red pants have become a go-to. They’re one of the staples I styled in both London and Paris for Fashion week and have been keeping on hand for events, work days, and the occasional off duty look!
I wore these red pants for a blogger event on Sloane Sleet and re-styled again for the Christopher Kane runway show, but for an off-duty day in Notting Hill, I’m all for wearing them with a comfy white tee. Usually I’ll reach for a classic white style, but to add variety, I’ve become a fan of a simple logo tee, topped off with my favorite classic staple — the trench coat. A trench is a must-have for anyone living in London, but also majorly trending as a “item to own” right now. If you’ve yet to invest, 2018 is your year. Burberry truly is the ultimate if you’re looking for a long term purchase. I’ve had my coat going on three years now and it’s one of those investments that will last years on end. But if you’re unsure of committing or are looking for a standout piece that doesn’t completely break the budget, I’ve also found some really great selects at a variety of price points!
This green Sezane bucket bag is probably one of my most worn bags and this logo tee is giving my classic white tee a run for it’s money! Sezane’s online store is annoyingly almost sold out — it’s that good— but if you’re in Paris or New York take advantage of the boutiques, and all of my LA ladies, be sure to check out the new Sezane pop-up!
