Springtime Occasion Dresses with Self Portrait

Self Portrait Pleated Dress | Dior Heels (Similar under $110) | JW Anderson bag

Happy first official day of spring! I feel like I have been waiting for this time of year for weeks now! With Easter just around the corner and both wedding and graduation season up ahead, I’ve been getting my ducks in a row, planning ahead for dress season!

Self Portrait has been a consistent standout in occasionwear and also happens to be one of my favorite contemporary, upscale brands. Every brand in the book from Aqua by Bloomingdales to Club Monaco copied their original lace midi dress seen HERE & HERE, and they’re back for more with another collection of stunning dresses. I love the gorgeous flow of this Self Portrait dress’s pleated crepe skirt, especially when paired with the sweetheart crochet bodice detailing. It’s ideal for Easter and transitioning into spring with detailed sleeves and midi length. When dressing for occasions this year, keep an eye out for pleated hemlines and deep hues of blue. Red is still having a major moment, but deep navy blues are another hue making a statement. Fortunately, it’s a shade that’s flattering on a variety of skin tones, and the crochet skirt style is playful but also comfortable!

I’m partial to this Self-Portrait style paired with my latest obsession, Dior’s Slingback shoes (also featured in THIS POST), but have also rounded up an abundance of Springtime dress styles and a few nude slingback shoes, if you’re on the market for an outfit for Easter, Mother’s Day, have a wedding up ahead, or need another occasion option to add to your repertoire!
