I absolutely love every single thing about this time of year! The decorations, the music, the Holiday spirit in the air! While my usual winter OOTD consists of cozy layers and boots, I love a good excuse to break the mold and get dolled up! This year my roommates and I are going to see the Nutcracker performed by the English National Ballet and I couldn’t be more excited to take advantage of Christmas time in London! Because the rest of our winter agenda consists of cozy nights in, a trip to Winter Wonderland, and lots of holiday festivities, I’m excited we planned a full on festive day to get in the Christmas spirit and get all dressed up!
I first fell in love with this stunning emerald dress as soon as I spotted in on ASOS. If you follow along on Instagram, you may have seen a sneak peek of it here, back in October when I wore it to my friends’ rehearsal dinner in Santa Barbara! Because green is a stunning shade this time of year, I brought it back out for the Holiday season! Not only is it extremely comfortable compared to many cocktail style dresses that I have owned, but the silhouette and way the silk falls is absolutely beautiful. I’ve seen many dresses of this kind with price tags well over $500, but was shocked to find this look-alike at just $100. Hopefully some of you took advantage when I included it in my Black Friday roundup, but if you’re still setting your sights on a gorgeous Holiday gown, I’ve linked it and several other standouts below!
Because I’m quite the creature of habit, I have the same go-to makeup routine I turn to every single day. I’m not one who tends to overdo the glam. Instead, I prefer a very natural version of myself, with a little beautification, of course! To boost my beauty this Holiday season, I turned to London’s leading lady, Charlotte Tilbury, and fell in love with the natural, glam look they created! They used the Light Wonder Foundation (Shade 3 – Fair), the Instant Look in a Palette Beauty Glow, the Retoucher Concealer (Shade 2 – Fair), the Airbrush Flawless Finish Powder (Shade 2- Medium), the Feline Flick Eye Liner, and my new favorite “Very Victoria” Lipstick. Treating myself to a little early Christmas, I splurged and added each of these products to my makeup bag just in time for a few elegant occasions. If you are also looking for an updated beauty look, a few glam gifts to add to your Christmas list, or just want some beauty recs that I genuinely love and recommend, I’m linking every single one of these below as well!
With December just kicking off I hope your Christmas season is filled with all things merry and bright! Now that I’m back in London, I’ll be sharing lots and lots of winter looks, gift guides, travel roundups, and my very first giveaway! Stay tuned & check back often, it’s going to be a very Christmas-content filled month!!
