Oftentimes simplicity is key, especially when it comes to a classic effortless look. Out are the days where wearing white after Labor day is no longer acceptable, and in are the oh-so-chic, winter whites.

While I love basic blacks and am guilty of relying on the dark hue throughout these frigid months, white is a chic alternative that keeps styles looking poised, classy, and minimally effortless. As temperatures begin to plummet and it’s time to reach for the layers, don’t forget that white is a color not to be overlooked this season!

Some of my favorite Winter Whites come from the current Club Monaco collection. I spotted this white coat in the window display and immediately fell in love with its understated elegance and classic tailored fit. It’s simple and refined yet adds a rich polished look to a wintery ensemble! When layering for the cold I recommend going a size up from your normal blouse size. The fit is very tailored so be sure to keep room for under layers!

IMG_6660This tweed skirt is another one of my favorite pieces from the Club Monaco collection. When I think tweed, my mind immediately dreams of Chanel. The timeless texture exudes classic femininity, a trait that is never out of style. I also found some other options here, here, and here!

Keeping the look consistent I pulled out one of my favorite white sweaters from Intermix. The nice thing about wearing whites all year round is you can truly get your money’s worth! This sweater is my go to for brisk spring and summer days, so it’s nice to make use of the piece in the fall and winter too! Some other great transitional white sweaters include this one, this one, and this one. There are also these options under $100 here, here, and here!

To keep the look stylish yet practical for everyday activities I slipped on these See by Chloe booties. These ones are no longer available, but I found a few similar pairs here, here, and here.

IMG_6641 This pair of pearl earrings is one of my most worn accessories. The double ball style adds a modern twist to the classic staple while maintaining the essence of femininity! Plus, they look identical to this Dior pair yet are a fraction of the cost!

I added a watch from Kate Spade and a necklace by Giles & Bro. To tie the polished looked together, I added a timeless Chanel boy bag (similar) and a coat of Deborah Lippman’s “Miss Independent” polish!

If you’re looking for some great winter white pieces, have a look at this dress, this shearling vest, this standout holiday party dress, this cozy knit cardigan, this structured white handbag, this sweater dress, and this cross body bag.
